When someone close to you dies, it is a life-changing moment, and it is important to honour their life respectfully; in a way that best reflects them.
I will work with you to capture the essence of your loved one and tell their story. You or others may wish to participate in the ceremony, or you may not. I will liaise with you as you decide what feels most comfortable for you.
You may wish to include religious elements or cultural rituals, and we can work together to ensure that these are respectfully included.

Designing your own Funeral ceremony
More and more people are pre-planning their own funeral and this includes deciding what the ceremony will be like. You may have a definite idea as to where the ceremony should take place and the music or readings you would like. You may wish to be involved in writing your own eulogy and farewell. I will work alongside you to create a ceremony that celebrates your life. This document will then be given to you to keep but can be edited over time to keep it up to date. I will always send you a revised version whenever any changes are made.
We will discuss what will happen if I am unable to conduct the ceremony myself, but wherever possible, I will lead your service.
